Job summary

Wise is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Global Coverage Product team. You’ll use data and insights to shape product decisions that help customers send money worldwide at minimal cost.

Work with Product Managers, Engineers and Analysts to develop KPIs, forecast outcomes, conduct discovery analyses, and run experiments to support new product rollouts and drive measurable performance for currencies and transfer methods.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical mind and product-led fintech experience.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL and BI tools.
• Experience working with PMs, engineers and analysts.
• Experience in data-driven, complex environments.
• Familiarity with Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Amplitude or similar.
• Excellent stakeholder communication.

About The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Analyst who’s passionate about our mission – Money Without
Borders – to join our Global Coverage Product team (Regional Expansion Tribe).

The Global Coverage team drives rapid expansion of the currencies and transfer methods Wise
supports. In this role, you’ll use data and insights to drive product decisions that will help our
customers send money anywhere in the world with minimal cost and maximum ease.

How you’ll contribute:

Drive KPI Performance:

• You’ll partner with Product Managers, Engineers and other Analysts to develop KPIs and metrics for the team


• Identify and action opportunities to enhance the team's key performance indicators (KPIs).


• Help to continuously improve product metrics

Analytical Leadership in Product Launches:

• Serve as the primary analytical point of contact for product launches within the team


• Conduct analysis including forecasting, discovery analysis, and experimentation to support new product rollouts

Data-Driven Decision Making:

• Influence product decisions with robust and actionable data insights


• Build and present compelling data-driven arguments to establish conviction and support within the team


• You’ll make contributions to the wider product goals of the company to achieve our Mission: Money without borders

Development of Data Assets:

• Construct and maintain valuable data assets to aid the team in diagnosing issues and understanding product impacts


• Ensure data assets are accessible and effectively utilised by the team to enhance


• product and customer insights

About You:

• Strong analytical mind and product led environments in the FinTech or Financial Industry


• Technical skill-set in Python, advanced SQL, BI tools


• Experience working with technical teams (PMs, engineers, analysts)


• Relevant experience in a data driven and complex environment with limited guidance


• Understanding of events data - Mixpanel / Google Analytics / Amplitude or similar


• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to translate data into compelling narratives


• Entrepreneurial mentality: You can take work beyond the analysis and drive outcomes.

Useful additional experience:

• Experience in Fintech domain


• Knowledge of utilities like Airflow/Github/DBT


• Experience with user-facing products and data
