Job summary

Beam is seeking a Senior Product Analyst to translate our data into decisions that help frontline workers access the support they need. You’ll work closely with product managers and engineers to define the metrics behind each squad’s roadmap and to answer the hardest questions yourself.

You’ll build the data models that power the product, extending our BigQuery, dbt and Metabase setup so a metric is defined once, tested, documented, and trusted by everyone who uses it.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-moving startup environments preferred.
• Familiarity with applying AI to workflows and verifying outputs.

The opportunity at Beam

We're looking for a Senior Product Analyst to translate Beam's data into decisions that get more frontline workers and the people they support the help they need.

What you’ll be doing

• Owning the important questions - working hand in hand with our PMs and engineers to define the metrics behind each squad's roadmap, then answering the hardest questions yourself rather than working through a queue of requests

• Building the data models everything else runs on - extending our BigQuery, dbt and metabase setup so that a metric is defined once, tested properly, documented, and trusted by everyone who uses it

• Turning analysis into decisions - your work is done when the decision is made, the metric moves, or the next step is clear - not when the dashboard ships

• Making data self-serve, including for AI - building the models, definitions and context that let teams across Beam get a trustworthy answer in plain language

Who we’re looking for

• A track record of analysis that changed something - you can point to product decisions that went differently because of your work, ideally in a fast-moving startup where the playbook wasn't written yet

• Hands-on experience across the stack - comfortable owning analytics from tracking through to insight, with strong SQL and tools like BigQuery, dbt and Metabase. You might not have used all of them, but you should be quick to learn

• Fluency with AI in your own workflow - you already use AI to move faster and you're appropriately sceptical of it, able to explain how you verified an answer as well as how you produced it

• Real conviction about the mission - you want your work to matter for frontline workers and the people they support, and you're excited by Beam's values and ways of working

Compensation:
£70,000 - £90,000 base salary depending on experience and performance during interviews + equity and amazing benefits (see our careers page)
