Tesco UK in the Technology team within Corporate Services is seeking a Senior Procurement Category Manager to lead high-value technology categories, design category strategies, and manage major sourcing activities.
You will partner with senior technology stakeholders, lead a team of procurement managers onshore and offshore, and drive value for money, safety compliance, technology advancements, and total cost of ownership across the procurement lifecycle.
We are on the lookout for a Senior Procurement Manager to join our Technology team within our Corporate Services function here at Tesco. As a Senior Procurement Category Manager, you will lead complex, high value categories and are responsible for designing and delivering category strategies, major sourcing activities, and supplier performance frameworks.
You will act as the primary commercial partner to senior technology stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing a team of procurement managers onshore & off-shore. You will focus on achieving value for money and improving efficiency throughout the procurement lifecycle. Working closely with colleagues, you will help shape a robust procurement strategy that balances business needs with safety, legal compliance, technology advancements, & total cost of ownership.
