Job description
Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted business advisor to EY stakeholders, aligning projects with the business pipeline and providing exceptional customer service while delivering quantitative value through cost savings, cost avoidance and contract value realization.
  • Responsible for the delivery of Global Procurement functional performance targets for the Human Capital category covering Quantitative Value (cost savings and cost avoidance), Spend under Management and Speed to Market.
  • Develop relationships with key EY business stakeholders and report category insights and progress via regular meetings.
  • Execute end‑to‑end strategic sourcing activities in accordance with the Procurement policy and provide excellence throughout the process: analyzing information, setting sourcing strategies, identifying requirements and opportunities, negotiating terms and conditions, and contracting products and/or services.
  • Lead procurement strategy and execution across Human Capital categories including temp labour, consultancy and executive recruitment.
  • Deliver high‑value RFPs and manage supplier relationships, ensuring compliance and performance globally.
  • Oversee category spend and reporting dashboards, including category‑specific and external workforce management PowerBI dashboards.
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment and policy adherence across procurement processes and governance frameworks.
  • Lead supplier relationship management reviews and reporting handovers for Human Capital programmes.
  • Deliver transformation programmes in support of the EY regional Procurement teams.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong commercial acumen and procurement expertise across indirect categories, especially Human Capital.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across global teams.
  • Skilled in Source-to-Pay processes, RFPs, and strategic sourcing execution.
  • Effective in managing change, building trust, and leading transformation initiatives.
  • Highly organized and capable of independently managing complex workloads and priorities.
  • Collaborative and adaptable in virtual, cross‑cultural environments.
  • Knowledge and interest in the Human Capital landscape.
  • The ability to drive change by building strong, trusting relationships with senior stakeholders and business partners.
  • Spend dashboard creation and country‑level opportunity assessments for external workforce programmes.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to independently manage and prioritise workload.
  • Experience in a category lead role in Procurement within a collaborative, high‑performance environment and preferable experience with the Talent Procurement category.
  • Strong procurement expertise and commercial acumen to drive sourcing and demand management strategies across a broad array of category services.
  • Ability to align efforts with key stakeholders and influence these leaders, as necessary, and possess a global mindset.
  • Experience in the execution of online Rfx and e‑Auctions.
  • Experience in data management and PowerBI dashboards.
  • Advanced English and the ability to lead conversations autonomously.
  • Ideally: A bachelor’s and follow‑on degree in Business or a similar discipline.
  • Certification: CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in Procurement.
  • Excellent oral written communication and presentation skills in business English.
  • Experience working collaboratively, virtually, and independently.
  • Experience with a global, culturally diverse organisation.
