Job summary

Sizewell C Limited, via the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), seeks a Senior Buyer to lead end-to-end procurement for subcontract packages on the Sizewell C project. You will develop procurement strategies, prepare RFQs/ITTs, manage returns and award recommendations, and collaborate across commercial and technical reviews.

You will draft and execute contracts in line with governance and help build a robust supplier database, while promoting local SME engagement and responsible procurement practices.

• Thorough understanding of Legal & contracting law.
• Excellent supplier relationship management.
• Thorough understanding of project procurement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Management of end-to-end procurement for subcontract packages.
• Develop procurement strategies and RFQs/ITTs.
• Evaluate supplier returns and make sourcing recommendations.
• Coordinate commercial and technical reviews of tenders.
• Negotiate with suppliers and perform commercial checks.
• Draft, issue and execute contracts per procurement guidelines.
• Develop supplier database, market assessments and prequalification status.
• Support local SME engagement and meet the buyer events.
