Job summary

Nuada, a Cleantech company, is seeking a senior process engineer to lead design and delivery of pilot and large-scale plants for carbon capture. You will work with the process team to develop design philosophies, specify equipment data sheets, and ensure safety.

The role requires 5–15 years in chemical/process engineering, familiarity with AutoCAD P&ID and HYSYS, and willingness to travel. Belfast-based position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–15 years of relevant industrial experience.
• Proven process engineering design experience with safety and environmental aspects.
• Experience with AutoCAD P&ID and HYSYS is an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel for assignments.

Responsibilities

• Process plant design and support of pilot and large-scale plant delivery.
• Develop design and operation philosophies with the process team.
• Prepare calculations, datasheets and drawings for process equipment.
• Execute process engineering deliverables and review vendor documents.
• Support FEEDs, EPC projects, and process modelling.
• Develop P&IDs, heat and material balances, and utility data.
• Ensure high safety standards and participate in HAZOP/LOPA reviews.
• Oversee multiple project activities and report progress to management.
