Senior Process Engineer - Nuclear (12-Month Contract)

Inside IR35 | £51-£57 p/h Umbrella

Join a high-profile UK nuclear project focused on Reprocessed Uranium (RepU). We're looking for an experienced Senior Process Engineer who can lead technical delivery, solve complex engineering challenges and uphold the highest safety and quality standards.

The Role
  • Take ownership of design, development and technical problem-solving.
  • Work across complex engineering tasks with autonomy.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support multi-discipline collaboration.
  • Produce and review calculations, drawings, models and technical reports.
  • Manage engineering risks, design changes and configuration control.
  • Support Project Managers with planning and delivery.
  • Act as Technical Authority when required.
What You'll Need
  • Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer (or working towards this).
  • Strong experience in multi-discipline engineering delivery.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder skills.
  • Background in nuclear, defence or other regulated industries (desirable).
  • Experience across full project lifecycle from concept to EPC (desirable).
