Job summary

microTECH Global LTD is seeking a Senior Process Engineer specialising in Lithography to lead development and optimisation of photolithography and e-beam lithography processes in a cutting-edge semiconductor fab.

You will work closely with Process, Equipment, Product Engineering and Manufacturing teams to drive yield, defect reduction, process capability improvements and NPI, while maintaining rigorous documentation and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • HNC/HND, degree, MSc or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science or semiconductor tech.
  • Experience in semiconductor, photonics, MEMS or advanced manufacturing.
  • Strong experience in photolithography and/or e-beam lithography.
  • Knowledge of SPC, Six Sigma, DOE, Lean and root-cause analysis.
  • Experience working in a high-tech manufacturing or cleanroom environment.
  • MES knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of photonic integrated circuit manufacturing would be a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support and optimise scanners, steppers, mask aligners, coaters, developers and e-beam systems.
  • Improve critical dimensions, overlay, yield and process capability.
  • Lead process development, qualification and equipment cross-qualification.
  • Analyse manufacturing data using SPC, DOE, Six Sigma and statistical techniques.
  • Drive yield, defect, scrap and cycle-time improvement.
  • Support NPI and technology transfer.
  • Work closely with Process, Equipment, Product Engineering, Manufacturing and R&D teams.
  • Provide technical support for process and equipment issues.
  • Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures.

Job description

We are recruiting for a leading semiconductor and photonic device manufacturer seeking a Senior Process Engineer specialising in Lithography. You will support process development, optimisation, NPI, yield improvement, defect reduction and continuous improvement within an advanced semiconductor fabrication facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, optimise and sustain photolithography and e-beam lithography processes.

  • Strong experience in photolithography and/or e-beam lithography.
  • Knowledge of SPC, Six Sigma, DOE, Lean Manufacturing and root-cause analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working within a high-technology manufacturing or cleanroom environment.
  • Knowledge of MES would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of photonic integrated circuit manufacturing would be a plus.
