Qualifications

• Significant post-qualification experience within Private Client Tax.
• Experience advising high net worth and ultra high net worth individuals within a mid-tier or Big Four practice.
• STEP qualification would be advantageous.
• Strong technical knowledge across residency, domicile and international tax matters; trusts and taxation rules.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of high net worth and ultra high net worth individuals, families and trusts.
• Lead complex private client advisory projects across a broad range of tax matters.
• Advise on residency, domicile and international tax matters, including new long term residence and related rules.
• Provide guidance on historic non-domiciled taxation, remittance basis and mixed fund rules.
• Advise on UK Statutory Residence Test and double tax treaties.
• Deliver Inheritance Tax planning including trusts, wills, reliefs and pensions.
• Advise on UK and offshore trusts, Family Investment Companies and property structures.
• Support HMRC enquiries and respond to HMRC nudge letters.
