Cartmell Shepherd have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Private Client Solicitor to join the team.

The role will find you working in one of the region’s leading law firms in a supportive team environment where your contribution is valued and essential. We welcome applications from solicitors who hold an SRA practising certificate from 5 years PQE upwards.

Role details

The successful applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will have a proven track record of handling Wills, Estates, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection, and Trusts including complex cases for high net worth, business and agricultural clients. They will be able to manage a varied workload efficiently and prioritise tasks effectively while showing strong attention to detail and an ability to work effectively under pressure. They will be able to supervise more junior members of the team and ideally will be members of STEP and the Association of Lifetime Lawyers.

Our Private Client team is one of the most experienced in the region and includes solicitors and paralegals with a combined wealth of experience and expertise. You would be working within a departmental structure alongside supportive colleagues and an excellent highly trained support team.

Whilst the position is based in one of our offices, we operate using technology and case management systems that would allow the successful applicant to effectively work from home and so applications for flexible or hybrid working would be considered in addition.

Our offices offer a warm welcome to clients and staff in modern office spaces with a traditional twist with ample meeting space at our locations.
