Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design from concept to completion for a variety of projects.
- Produce design drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, and load calculations.
- Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, BS standards, and CIBSE guidance.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, supporting their professional growth.
- Attend site visits, client meetings, and liaise with statutory bodies.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and tender documentation.
- Support feasibility studies, energy assessments, and sustainable design initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or equivalent.
- Proven senior-level experience in building services electrical design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and electrical design/calculation tools.
- Strong knowledge of UK wiring regulations, BS standards, and CIBSE guidance.
- Leadership experience with excellent mentoring, communication, and teamwork skills.
