Overview

Senior/Principal Clinical Database Manager - Remote, United Kingdom. Precision for Medicine are hiring a Senior/Principal Clinical Database Manager to join our team. Candidates can work remotely in the following locations: UK, Spain, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia or Slovakia.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance and support of clinical databases and applications.
• Interface with internal teams (e.g., Data Management, Project Management), EDC vendor, clients and third-party vendors to gather requirements and provide status updates.
• Provide operational and technical training to end users and junior staff.
• May lead internal software projects requiring specialized programming and/or scripting.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and customizing clinical data management databases in a clinical, scientific or health care discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience.
• Rave Advanced Custom Function programming experience.

Other Required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Ability to handle a variety of clinical research tasks with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Professional use of the English language, both written and oral.
• Understanding of CDISC standards (CDASH, SDTM, ADaM, etc.).
• Experience in clinical database management system development and in a clinical, scientific or healthcare discipline.
• Experience using various clinical database management systems.
• Broad knowledge of drug, device and/or biologic development and data management practices.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with effective communication in English.

Preferred

• Oncology and/or Orphan Drug therapeutic experience.
• Base SAS, SAS/STAT and SAS/ACCESS software.
• Advanced experience in database management and object-oriented programming.
• Veeva setup experience.
• Medidata Rave certification.
