Senior/Principal Civil/Drainage Engineer

Location: Cambridge

Salary: Likely £35-55k DOE

Our client is a multidisciplinary environmental consultancy seeking an enthusiastic and motivated civil/drainage engineer to help further develop this discipline in their Cambridge office.

With a relevant degree (i.e. Engineering) and depending on level, we would expect you to be chartered or be motivated to gain chartership (i.e. ICE, CIWEM, etc).

This is a great opportunity to join a growing team across the business, working closely with like-minded colleagues, supporting Project Managers delivering flood risk and drainage strategies for a range of projects across the sector.

Background: The Cambridge office is in a fresh office block in north Cambridge, very handy for the train station. Great opportunity to make your mark and set your path.

Skills and Experience:
  1. Familiar with drainage policy and guidance.
  2. Familiar with drainage design software (Microdrainage, Causeway, CAD).
  3. Strong organisational and time management skills.
  4. Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams, liaising with clients and statutory authorities.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Driving license.
