A healthcare service provider is seeking a Senior Primary Care Nurse to join their team at HMP Wealstun in Wetherby. The role entails leading nursing services, conducting medication rounds, and delivering personalized care to patients. We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Wealstun, a category C Prison located in Wetherby.
HMP Wealstun is a male prison with a capacity for 832. Ideal candidate would have experience working in a secure environment and be able to work independently.
PPG pathway opportunities offered in this role including Nurse Prescribing which can be offered after probation.
37.5 hours a week, 12 hour shifts working across 3 days but covering 7 days per week. Every 8 weeks an extra shift. Working every other weekend.
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £47,466 per annum FTE - depending on experience.
