Job summary

MERJE are recruiting for a Senior Pricing and Data Science Analyst to work on an insurance pricing portfolio, shaping strategy through robust analytics. You will develop pricing models, integrate pricing software, and present insights to senior stakeholders across functions, covering the full product and pricing lifecycle.

The role requires Excel and SQL expertise, GLM and regression techniques, familiarity with pricing systems, and a bias for data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance pricing and data analysis, ideally general insurance.
• Proficiency in Excel and SQL with GLM and regression modelling experience.
• Experience with pricing systems and enhancements.
• Regulatory knowledge is beneficial.
• Actuarial knowledge is not required but could be useful.
• Senior Analyst level or readiness to step up from Analyst.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and with the team on pricing models and analytical results that inform strategy.
• Integrate new pricing software and enhance data analytical tools across the lifecycle.
• Present findings to senior and cross-functional departments.
