An international biomedical research institution based in the UK is looking for a Senior Laboratory Research Scientist to design and implement studies focused on cardiovascular and oncology imaging. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in pre-clinical imaging, particularly ultrasound, and have a degree in biomedical sciences or a related field. Qualifications

• Degree in biomedical sciences, medical biology, veterinary medicine or a related field.
• Proven track record in pre‑clinical imaging, particularly ultrasound.
• Demonstrated experience working with small animal models in a research setting.
• Technical expertise in ultrasound imaging in cardiology and/or oncology.
• Ability to design imaging protocols tailored to specific research objectives.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks for pre‑clinical research.

Responsabilités

• Designing and implementing pre‑clinical ultrasound imaging studies.
• Advising researchers on imaging strategy and study design.
• Performing high‑frequency ultrasound imaging in small animal models.
• Assessing cardiac anatomy, function and haemodynamics.
• Conducting anatomical and functional tumour imaging.
• Performing ultrasound‑guided injections.
