Job summary

Birmingham Children's Trust is seeking an experienced safeguarding-led Social Worker to join our hybrid team in Birmingham. You will hold a Social Work qualification and registration, work within a team focused on safeguarding children and young people, and collaborate with education and health partners.

You will mentor staff, manage complex cases, and contribute to improving outcomes for children in need and in care.

Qualifications

• Experienced safeguarding-led Social Worker with relevant Social Work qualification and registration.
• Ability to manage safeguarding cases, multi-agency work and complex assessments.
• Commitment to child-centered practice with strong communication across professionals.

Responsibilities

• Undertake complex case management with a child-centered approach.
• Deliver high-quality assessments and timely service delivery.
• Mentor and supervise newly qualified social workers and family workers.
