Job summary

TPF Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a great local firm of Accountants, based in Folkestone, who are looking for a Senior Practice Accountant to join their team in a general practice position across accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT.

They’re looking for either a qualified or qualified by experience Senior Practice Accountant to join them in a progressive and rewarding career, with hybrid and flexible working and study support as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience within an accountancy practice.
• AAT / ACA/ ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
• Hands on experience of accounts, tax and VAT preparation.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of statutory accounts
• Assisting with management accounts production
• Personal tax, corporate tax and VAT returns
• General bookkeeping duties using Xero or QuickBooks
• Coaching and mentoring junior staff members and trainees

Skills

5+ years experience in accountancy

Coaching and mentoring juniors

Hands-on accounts, tax and VAT

Hybrid working

Education

AAT / ACA / ACCA qualified
