Job summary

The Hartford is seeking a Senior Underwriter in London to negotiate, underwrite, and develop a profitable Power & Renewables portfolio. You will work with brokers and Hartford International offices to source new opportunities and manage risk.

You will collaborate with engineering and claims teams, ensuring compliance with Lloyd's regulations and internal policies while contributing to pricing models and portfolio updates.

• In-depth knowledge of Power Generation and Renewable Energy industries.
• Broad London Market broker and client network.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and develop a profitable Power & Renewables portfolio.
• Source and develop new business through London Market brokers and Hartford International Offices.
• Collaborate with engineering, claims and underwriting teams to manage risk.
• Ensure compliance with Lloyd's regulations and Hartford policies.
• Contribute to pricing models and portfolio reporting.
