Job summary

A leading global engineering firm is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer for a contract role based in Rochdale with hybrid working. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading power conversion and power management product development, closely mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring compliance with aerospace and defence standards. The ideal candidate will have strong design experience in power systems, familiarity with regulatory standards, and be eligible for security clearance.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in power converter and/or power management design.
• Familiarity with multiple power topologies (100W-10kW) such as DC/DC, AC/DC, AC/AC.
• Experience in aerospace, defence, or automotive environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of power conversion and management technologies.
• Act as technical authority for allocated projects.
• Mentor and support junior engineering staff.
