The Database & Platform team is hiring a Senior Software Engineer.

The Database & Platform team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with advanced PostgreSQL experience and deep Python expertise to help power the infrastructure behind our global markets. This is a high-impact role for a hands-on engineer who thrives in a fast-paced technical environment. We are looking for a team player who is passionate about building resilient, scalable systems that will support real-time trading and analytics.

Responsibilities

In this role you’ll be responsible for :

• Architecting and leading development of core infrastructure that supports the mission-critical exchange platforms and PostgreSQL databases globally.
• Automated tooling for database observability, replication, failover, and performance tuning to meet the demands of our high-throughput systems.
• Partnering with other teams to ensure platform reliability and drive continuous improvement.
• Contributing to incident response and root cause analysis, ensuring rapid recovery and long-term resilience of the trading and data platforms.
• Mentoring other engineers and influencing the technical roadmap.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has :

• Expert-level experience with PostgreSQL, including replication, tuning and high-availability strategies in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python, with a track record of delivering tested, maintainable code.
• Solid understanding of Linux / UNIX systems, shell scripting and Salt orchestration.

Desirable experience :

• Familiarity with Snowflake is a plus.
• Background in financial markets and trading systems is preferred.
