Job description
Overview

We are looking for an experienced senior post contract manager to lead the post-contract phase of complex housing and construction projects.

You will ensure developments are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, ready for letting or sale. The role involves managing contractors, overseeing project viability, mitigating risks, handling escalations, and reporting performance to senior leadership. Strong leadership, excellent communication, and a focus on customer outcomes are essential.

You will oversee multiple projects from contract to handover, coordinating teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth delivery. You will monitor performance, manage budgets and cashflows, ensure compliance with regulations and Homes England requirements, and lead project close-down to capture lessons learned. Maintaining high-quality standards and resolving customer concerns efficiently will be key to your success.

You’ll have proven experience in post-contract project management, strong contract and team management skills, and a track record of delivering multiple complex projects. You will be confident managing budgets, risks, and project viability, with excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

This role is permanent and full time. You can be based from either of our main offices in Tewkesbury or Wolverhampton with regular travel to sites required.

You will have:

  • A degree in construction, project management, or a related field
  • Chartered status (RICS, MCIOB, or equivalent) desirable
  • IT literacy
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to complete a basic DBS check

The closing date is 14 December with first stage interviews taking place 22 December via Teams.

If you are driven by delivering high-quality homes and leading successful project teams, we want to hear from you.
