We’re looking for a Senior Portfolio Analyst to join our Business Planning & Analytics team. If you’re passionate about underwriting analytics, business planning, and driving insight through data, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

A bit about the job:

You’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of underwriting analytics and business planning activities for our Lloyd’s business. From managing our planning model and preparing submissions to Lloyd’s, to enhancing our portfolio management capabilities and reporting MI, you’ll help shape decisions that drive performance and growth.

You’ll work closely with senior leaders, including the Active Underwriter, and collaborate across the organisation to deliver accurate, timely, and meaningful insights.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:
  • Strong knowledge of underwriting practices and experience in underwriting performance, planning, actuarial, or finance functions.
  • Detailed understanding of the insurance sector, the Lloyd’s trading environment, as well as knowledge of Lloyd’s business planning process and regulatory returns.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential. Experience in data language/visualisation tools (SQL, R, Python, Power BI, Qlik)is desirable.
  • Ability to work quickly and methodically, with strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Good communicator with strong stakeholder management and a proactive approach.
