YLD, a remote-first software engineering consultancy, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join client teams in building innovative products. You will design scalable, resilient architectures and communicate effectively within fast-paced engineering environments.

You will help drive a full CI/CD transition, mentor peers, and contribute to high-availability systems while collaborating across London, Lisbon, and Porto teams.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and design skills for scalable, fault-tolerant architectures.
• Experience with modern frameworks and building client-facing products.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Build new features for client products meeting client and user needs.
• Move products to a full CI/CD model with automated deployments.
• Collaborate across teams to drive engineering initiatives and best practices.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to career growth.
• Architect, design, build, and deliver highly available, zero-downtime systems.
• Oversee production operations and monitor SLAs.
• Promote best practices within the department.
• Present work in regular show-and-tells.
