Job summary

Oasisplay is seeking a Senior Playworker to support inclusive outdoor play across multiple sites in South London. You will lead a team of playworkers, plan sessions, and ensure safety and accessibility for all children, including those with complex needs.

The role is based at Stockwell & Oval with a permanent contract and a 17.75 hour weekly schedule. A Playwork or childcare qualification is preferred, and a DBS check will be required. The organization values inclusive play and diversity.

Oasisplay is seeking a passionate Senior Playworker to support our inclusive play services across multiple sites, including a nature garden, karting track, and two adventure playgrounds. Based in the heart of South London, we provide safe, creative, and inclusive spaces for children of all abilities to explore, grow, and build confidence.
As Senior Playworker, you’ll lead and support a vibrant team of playworkers, plan and facilitate engaging play sessions, ensure site safety and accessibility, and champion the rights of all children to play freely. You’ll work directly with children and families, including those with complex needs, and play a central role in delivering a meaningful, high-quality experience.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has significant experience working with disabled children and in play settings
• Can confidently manage a dynamic team and challenging behaviours
• Holds or is working toward a Playwork or childcare qualification
• Understands inclusive play principles and embraces equality and diversity
• Is organised, solution-focused, and thrives in fast-paced outdoor environments
• Hours: 17.75 hrs/week (Tue–Fri: 3–6.15pm, Sat: 10–5pm).
  Holiday playschemes: Mon–Fri 10–5pm (up to 32.5 hrs/week).
• Contract: Permanent, subject to enhanced DBS check
• Location: Stockwell & Oval (multiple sites)
