Job summary

OneSignal, Inc. is looking for a Senior or Staff Software Engineer to join their Platform Team in Greater London. The role focuses on managing and developing infrastructure, ensuring uptime and performance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in platform engineering and be knowledgeable in Kubernetes and PostgreSQL. The base salary for this position ranges from GBP 100,000 to GBP 125,000 for Senior level and GBP 125,000 to GBP 145,000 for Staff level, complemented by equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of platform experience.
• Experience operating reliable production systems at scale.
• Knowledge of Linux systems internals.
• Desire and ability to automate tasks.
• Experience managing PostgreSQL for high-scale throughput systems.
• Operational experience deploying and managing Kubernetes.
• Experience working with Cloud Providers (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Optimize performance and introduce optimizations.
• Set up infrastructure and configuration-as-code with Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Establish observability and monitoring stack.
• Define best practices for continuous integration and deployment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to architect scalable services.
• Join the on-call rotation to maintain systems.
