Job summary

Dexory in Wallingford (Oxfordshire) is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join the Platform Engineering team. You will develop internal tooling, infrastructure and data pipelines powering our robot fleet and real-time data streams, with Go on the backend and React/TypeScript on the frontend.

This hybrid role involves building software that interacts with hardware, optimizing real-time communications (WebRTC/WebSockets/gRPC), and shaping scalable storage with PostgreSQL and SQLite across cloud

Qualifications

• Experience building backend services in Go and front-end interfaces using React/TypeScript.
• Hands-on in real-time data systems and streaming protocols.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling for multiple teams.
• Design and maintain internal APIs and infrastructure to support robotics operations and data pipelines.
• Lead backend development in Go while contributing to front-end interfaces with React/TypeScript.
• Implement and optimize real-time telemetry and video communication using WebRTC, WebSockets, gRPC, and Zenoh.
• Design and manage data storage with PostgreSQL and SQLite for cloud and edge environments.
• Troubleshoot across the full stack, including software-hardware interactions on Linux.
