Job summary

Consol Partners in the UK seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure AWS-based platform solutions, driving automation and reliability across CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with development and strategy teams.

The role requires 3 days per week on-site in Leeds or London, with travel and accommodation expenses covered. Active UK SC Clearance is required, with immediate joiners or up to two weeks' notice possible.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of relevant engineering experience with a Senior Platform Engineer background.
• Active UK SC Clearance is mandatory.
• Hands-on AWS CloudFormation, EC2, NLB, API Gateway, ASG knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-based AWS resources for performance and reliability.
• Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain CloudFormation scripts and templates.
• Create and manage automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Contribute to Architecture Strategy and improve engineering practices across the org.
• Manage Linux-based web services, containers, and config management tools.
• Document procedures, policies, and deployment frameworks.
