Job summary

A specialist consultancy is currently seeking a Senior Platform Engineer with expertise in Python and Kubernetes for a 6-month contract in the Reading area. This role involves working with a SCRUM team to develop high-standard Python code and transform the Automation stack, with a focus on security principles. Ideal candidates will have strong experience in CI/CD pipelines and the ability to coach junior staff.

Opticore ITare currently searching for a Senior Platform Engineerwith strong experience in scripting with Python and Kubernetes to enable the delivery of network automation to the business. Our client has a newly defined automation framework, and to support this have implemented a Kubernetes, Message Broker, CI/CD pipeline, NoSQL database and log management/analytics solution.

This is an initial 6 month contract opportunity Inside IR35 with the prospect of extension. You will be required to be on site 1 day a week in Reading area.
