Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of current planning legislation and guidance.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong listening and negotiation abilities.

• Excellent organisational and workload prioritisation skills.
• Experience with major development proposals and appeals.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, supervise and manage a team of Planners in processing planning applications.
• Assist Team Leader in achieving performance and development of the team.
• Progress a small caseload of complex proposals, including major schemes and appeals.
• Operate in a digital environment and support timely decisions.
