Job summary

Carrington West are assisting a Midlands-based local authority in their search for a Senior Planning Officer to join the Development Management team on an initial 6-month contract. You will process reallocated and new applications, including householder and minor planning applications, pre-applications and associated appeals, with a hybrid working arrangement.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate degree in planning, regeneration or a related discipline.
• Eligibility for RTPI membership is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process reallocated and new planning applications, including householder and minor applications.
• Handle pre-applications and associated appeals as part of Development Management.
• Work with a hybrid pattern and deliver decisions in a timely manner.
