Job summary

Mace, a leading infrastructure consultancy, seeks an experienced Planning and Scheduling specialist to join our UK water sector project delivery team. You will direct planning across allocated projects and tenders, developing schedules and ensuring on‑time, profitable outcomes.

The role requires deep Primavera expertise, strong governance, and ability to lead a planning team while advancing net‑zero objectives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in planning, controls and scheduling on large complex projects or programmes.
• Proficient with Primavera P6 for bottom‑up schedules and critical path analysis.
• Membership or active engagement with professional bodies (APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA) or equivalent development.

Responsibilities

• Direct planning across allocated projects and tenders, ensuring schedules are developed, monitored and delivered.
• Support project management to achieve timely and profitable outcomes.
• Oversee planning for medium to high‑complexity projects or major project sections.
