Job summary

Turner & Townsend is hiring a Senior Planning Engineer to join the project controls team in a major construction programme. You will provide performance reporting, develop baselines with cost and planning engineers, and deliver actionable recommendations to clients.

Strong skills in earned value, progress tracking, and change control are essential. Key tools include Oracle Primavera P6, Excel, and SAP-like systems; knowledge of Oracle is desirable.

Qualifications

• Numerate and computer literate with strong Excel skills.
• Experience in project controls on major construction projects or programmes.
• Proven ability to produce performance analysis and reports.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cost and planning engineers to develop WBS and baselines.
• Establish progress and cost monitoring methodologies.
• Produce project control reports with actionable recommendations.
• Serve as primary day-to-day contact with clients on projects.
• Manage earned value analysis, progress updates and cost control.
• Oversee change control and baseline management processes.
• Deliver timely reporting to stakeholders.
