Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to join our controls and performance team in Lincolnshire. You will oversee and optimise planning and scheduling for complex construction projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely delivery.

The role requires 5–7 years in planning within construction/industrial environments, with strong skills in Primavera P6, MS Project and CAD, and a PMP/PRINCE2 is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of planning engineering experience in construction, industrial and manufacturing environments.
• Advanced knowledge of planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
• Proficiency in CAD software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.
• Experience in project management and resource allocation.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
