Service Care Solutions is working with a forward‑thinking local authority, based in Devon, who are seeking a Senior Lawyer to join their Planning and Litigation team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high‑quality legal services to the council and a National Park Authority.

Role Details

Role: Senior Lawyer - Planning & Litigation Team - Local Authority (Devon)
Location: Fully Remote
Contract: 3 months ongoing
Umbrella Rate: £50-£55ph
PAYE Inc. Rate: £44.10 - £48.44ph

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on a broad spectrum of highways and public right of way matters, including enforcement and statutory processes.
  • Handle a mixed caseload covering both civil and criminal litigation.
  • Support and mentor junior members of the team.
About You
  • A qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive with substantial experience in highways and local government law.
  • Strong background in litigation (civil and/or criminal).
  • Previous local government experience is essential.
