Job summary

Mace Consult is seeking a Senior Planner to join our project controls team in a hybrid role based in Peterborough or London. You will develop and maintain integrated schedules for major infrastructure programmes, providing robust planning insights to support decision-making and delivery.

The role requires strong experience with Primavera P6, baselining, and schedule forecasting, working across interfaces with commercial, risk and delivery teams. Hybrid working options are available.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in engineering, construction or project management.
• APM/PMI/ICE/CIOB membership or accreditation encouraged.
• Advanced Primavera P6 knowledge for complex programmes.
• Strong baselining, critical path, schedule logic and forecasting.
• Experience managing programme interfaces and milestones.
• Understanding Earned Value Management and progress reporting.
• Proven planning experience in major infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated schedules using Primavera P6.
• Set baselines, milestones, assumptions and dependencies.
• Perform critical path analysis and forecast scenarios.
• Monitor progress and provide schedule reporting.
• Collaborate with project controls, risk and delivery teams.
• Lead planning workshops to validate scope and milestones.
• Support schedule assurance and governance with reliable data.
