Job summary

Omexom Uk is seeking a Senior Planner to lead the planning function for the Kintore Substation upgrade projects. You will guide project delivery teams, manage schedule submissions, and train junior planners in planning methodologies and software.

The role requires strong communication, numeracy, and proficiency with Primavera P6 and related planning tools, along with a proactive, team-oriented approach and flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator with stakeholders (internal and external)
• High level of numeracy and strong analytical skills
• Excellent MS Office skills and report preparation
• Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills in a team
• Good time management and attention to detail
• Experience guiding PMs on schedule, scope, and risks

Responsibilities

• Lead planning functions within the business unit and drive delivery of complex programmes
• Provide guidance to the PM on critical/near-critical activities and project stages
• Provide programme submissions and reports to the client as required
• Capture progress and changes, ensuring contract requirements are met
• Train planning staff and junior planners in planning methodologies and tools
• Support PMO with schedule development, control, monitoring and reporting
