Job summary

Omexom UK seeks a Senior Planner to support the Planning Manager across complex infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and safety standards.

You will lead integrated schedules, manage risks, mentor planners, and coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to deliver on milestones and cost plans.

The role requires advanced Primavera P6 skills, knowledge of NEC3/NEC4, and strong communication to support senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in planning major infrastructure projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, including resource loading, EVM, and progress reporting.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Proven ability to develop programmes from first principles and assess supplier schedules.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts and CDM regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and management of integrated project schedules across multiple workstreams.
• Identify risks and opportunities and implement mitigation strategies.
• Oversee planning activities of other planners and provide mentorship.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Produce tender and baseline programmes to support bids and execution.
• Manage and optimize resource and cost-loaded schedules using Primavera P6.
• Ensure progress aligns with milestones, cost plans, and client expectations.
• Provide strategic planning input to senior management and stakeholders.
