Job summary

Vivid Resourcing is currently seeking a Senior Planner for a planning consultancy based in Surrey. This full-time role offers hybrid working and the chance to work on a range of planning projects across the South East.

You will support clients through the planning process, prepare and manage planning applications and appeals, conduct site research, liaise with authorities and stakeholders, and contribute to planning statements and documentation.

Qualifications

• A relevant planning degree.
• MRTPI Chartered.
• A good understanding of the UK planning system.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience within planning consultancy, local government, or a development environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and submitting planning applications
• Assisting with planning appeals and representations
• Undertaking planning policy and site research
• Liaising with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders
• Preparing planning statements and supporting documentation
• Managing projects appropriate to your level of experience
