A leading recruitment firm is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support the delivery of a major healthcare project in Birmingham. The successful candidate will manage project planning, scheduling, and reporting processes, ensuring robust methodologies are maintained. Ideal applicants will have substantial experience with large-scale construction projects and expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Planner on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and healthcare sector experience desirable.
• Proven experience creating P6 plans from first principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update project programmes using Primavera P6.
• Monitor progress against baseline schedules and report variances.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly progress reports to stakeholders.
• Analyse critical paths and identify potential delays, providing mitigation strategies.
• Support project controls including cost and resource loading as required.
