Job description

We are currently looking for a Senior DM Planner to join our client in Essex on a minimum 6 month contract.

Responsibilities

• Work on a varied caseload having full responsibility to manage end to end.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare cases for Planning Appeals.
• Prepare committee reports and attend meetings where necessary.
• Work on major development proposals and articulate the material considerations of delivering sustainable development.
• Use good verbal communication skills on the telephone and in person to conduct meetings with developers, elected members, and communicate with the public on planning queries and issues.
• Work 1‑2 days per week in the office or traveling to sites; the remainder can work from home.

Pay rate will be £45/hr (umbrella).
