Job summary

Wates Construction in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Planner to join our Construction Team, focused on high profile, technically complex projects across multiple sectors. You will provide effective planning and programming services for pre-contract and project teams.

You will lead planning exercises, integrate design and procurement, present proposals to settlement meetings, and manage changes affecting extensions of time.

Qualifications

• Experience on MoJ and DfE projects.
• Able to obtain security clearances/DBI checks.
• Experience with tenders, preconstruction and live projects.
• Able to present to clients and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Instigate and monitor performance criteria through a project's lifecycle.
• Integrate design and procurement elements with construction schedules.
• Produce integrated tender programme and method statements.
• Manage changes and advise on EOT issues.
• Engage with supply chains, consultants, clients and stakeholders.
• Develop schedules and obtain/analyse quotes for preliminaries.
