Job summary

Datasource is hiring for multiple Planner, Senior Planner and Planning Manager roles in the Midlands, with hybrid and on-site options in Derby, Nottingham and Birmingham. You’ll manage complex schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, support defence/engineering projects, and drive performance through earned value and risk analysis.

The team values strong stakeholder engagement and independent, collaborative work across multi-disciplinary groups.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Planner or Planning Manager on complex engineering or defence projects.
• Solid experience building and managing schedules and baselines.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Experience with Earned Value Management and hierarchical reporting.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage complex project schedules, interfaces and stakeholder engagement.
• Maintain baselines to support contractual requirements and performance metrics.
• Lead planning meetings and workshops to drive project progress.
• Manage contract schedule requirements and ensure compliance.
• Produce Earned Value Management reporting and schedule outputs.
• Integrate schedule, cost and risk data for a consolidated view.
• Conduct critical path analysis and scenario planning.
• Provide scheduling expertise to project and commercial teams.
