Job description

We are recruiting for a Senior Planner to join the planning & project controls function on a significant overhead line (OHL) scheme stretching from Fort Augustus to the Isle of Skye. This role will support the Planning Manager and wider delivery team across tower construction, civils packages and access track development.

Role responsibilities
  • Developing and maintaining detailed construction programmes using Primavera P6.
  • Supporting schedule reporting, progress measurement and scenario planning.
  • Working closely with engineering, construction and commercial teams.
  • Feeding into risk, forecasting and mitigation discussions.
  • Ensuring consistent programme updates across all work packages.
Ideal background
  • Experience within civil engineering, utilities or major infrastructure.
  • Strong working knowledge of P6.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Suitable for individuals already in Scotland or open to relocating for the duration.
Working pattern
  • 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
  • Hybrid option: 4 days on site / 1 day from home
  • Optional accommodation in newly built project villages (Isle of Skye & Fort Augustus)
