Job summary

Pond & Company is seeking a Senior Piping Designer to join its Energy team. You will lead the development of detailed 3D models and construction drawings for mechanical piping and equipment systems, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry standards.

You will collaborate with Mechanical and Process Engineers to develop P&IDs and PFDs, lead piping specifications, and mentor junior designers to maintain quality across deliverables.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of piping design experience in the Energy sector.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant3D, CADWorx or similar.
• Proven experience leading design tasks or small teams.
• Strong communication, coordination and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic project environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth in mechanical and piping design.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts on diverse Energy sector projects.
• Develop and oversee detailed 3D models and construction drawings for piping systems.
• Collaborate with Mechanical and Process Engineers to develop P&IDs and PFDs.
• Lead the development and maintenance of piping specifications.
• Guide junior designers to ensure quality and consistency.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and drive project schedules and quality outcomes.
