Responsibilities

• Be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of your own work, including the management of your patient caseload.
• Undertake comprehensive assessments of patients, including those with complex presentations or multiple pathologies.
• Use advanced clinical reasoning and manual assessment techniques to provide accurate diagnoses.
• Formulate and implement individualised treatment programmes based on evidence-based practice and a range of therapeutic options.
• Continuously evaluate treatment outcomes and adapt care plans using sound clinical reasoning.
• Establish accurate prognoses, recommend appropriate interventions, and develop thorough treatment and discharge plans.
• Assess patients\' understanding of treatment proposals and obtain valid consent.
• Work within the legal framework when treating patients who may lack the capacity to consent

• Recognised qualification degree / equivalent in physiotherapy
• HCPC registration

Experience

• Previous clinical experience relevant to post
• Contribution to clinical education of less experienced staff, Technical Instructor or assistants.

• Experience of providing clinical supervision
• Previous NHS experience
• Previous experience of SystmOne

Knowledge and Abilities

• Basic IT skills
• Ability to manage a clinical caseload

• Evidence of relevant post graduate training courses
