Job summary

Portsmouth Community Service, part of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, seeks a Senior Physiotherapist (Band 6) to assess and treat patients, supervise junior staff, and contribute to service improvement.

You will manage a diverse caseload, deliver evidence-based rehabilitation, and work within a multidisciplinary team with clinical support from a Band 7 physiotherapist.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy or equivalent.
• Portfolio evidence of learning.
• HCPC registration.
• Right to work in the UK at the time of application.

• Deliver physiotherapy intervention to achieve rehabilitation and reablement goals.

Job description

Senior Physiotherapist post in Portsmouth Community Service, part of an integrated health and social care team at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The postholder holds a band 6 caseload, assessing patients' immediate and longer-term needs and delivering treatment aimed at rehabilitation and reablement. The role also involves supervising rotational physiotherapists, therapy assistants and student placements, with clinical support from a band 7 physiotherapist. Visa sponsorship is not available, so applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
