Main duties of the job

Nuffield Health Plymouth HospitalThe Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital is situated next to the Nuffield Health Devonshire Gym, in Derriford, Plymouth and we have been part of the Plymouth community since 1971. We have 3 main theatres - 2 laminar flow and 1 digital, a fully JAG accredited endoscopy suite, a 35-bedded ward with one 4 bedded bay and one 2 bedded bay. Our outpatients department has 12 consulting rooms with a dedicated ophthalmology suite and ENT service.We carry out treatment under a range of specialities including Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery and Neurosurgery. We recently were rated in the top 50 hospitals in the country for our total hip replacement patient outcomes.

Qualifications
  • As a Senior Physiotherapist at Nuffield Health Plymouth, you'll have a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
Experience
  • You also have excellent clinical reasoning and rehabilitation skills, and you're committed to developing as a practitioner. You're a confident communicator, skilled at engaging with all kinds of people. This is a great opportunity to be considered for a post with us working cross any of our 3 sites within Plymouth: the Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital, Devonshire FWB Gym and Plymouth FWB Gym. There will be a requirement to work a day a week on our inpatient orthopaedic ward and on our rota for weekend inpatient orthopaedic work so experience in inpatients is also desirable on application.
