Support will be provided to enhance operational management skills and contributions to service planning, development and teaching.
To deliver a structured programme of prehabilitation and rehabilitation as a MDT to help patients to optimise their physical activity levels during and after cancer treatment.
The aim of the programme is to optimise patients preparedness for treatment during the prehabilitation phase and facilitate patients recovery and rehabilitation post cancer treatment.
The type and level of support patients receive is based upon a detailed assessment of need at various touch points throughout a patient's cancer journey
Integral to the delivery of this programme is the provision of data aligned to the research element which is being led by Sheffield Hallam University.
