Main duties

• Work within the Barts Health Band 6 musculoskeletal rotation at Whipps Cross Hospital and community sites, alongside Orthopaedic, Rheumatology and Community Pain clinics.
• Supervise a Band 5 physiotherapist and students, providing appraisals, teaching and clinical support in a demanding caseload.
• Support Band 7 line managers; liaise with GP services, lead educational activities and champion musculoskeletal audit.
• Deliver face‑to‑face and virtual appointments, applying evidence‑based musculoskeletal physiotherapy principles with broad experience of peripheral and spinal patients.
• Contribute to project management and audit initiatives and participate in training programmes for staff and external courses.

  • Demonstrated CPD evidence and experience working in multidisciplinary teams

Desirable experience
  • Audit/research involvement, membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
  • Orthopaedic inpatient rotation completed
  • Experience in musculoskeletal audit and clinical governance
